Morey Wright is a Technology Executive and Community Advocate. The son of Caribbean parents, Morey was raised in the Woodlands neighborhood of Tamarac where he learned that hard work, honesty, and integrity are the keys to a better life and a better community. Now Morey has returned home to give back to Tamarac; the city he first called home.

Listen to the concerns and issues of all residents.
Enhance programs for seniors, children, veterans, and vulnerable populations.
Create job training initiatives to upskill and retool Tamarac residents for 21st-century jobs.
ECONOMY
Transform the western part of Tamarac into a leading digital technology startup hub.
Create a small business incubator program that provides funding to new businesses, allowing for economic growth and good-paying jobs for Tamarac residents.
Implement initiatives to attract new businesses and national restaurants.
PUBLIC SAFETY
Address crime by working with Tamarac BSO to implement crime-fighting strategies so that residents are safe.
Enforce strict ordinances to reduce speeding and noise.
Promote school safety initiatives by working with the Broward County School Board.
THE COST OF LIVING
Reduce property taxes and the cost of rent by implementing affordable housing strategies.
Increase funding for living assistance programs.
Support for affordable housing and first-time homebuyer programs.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Improve parks through beautification, programming, and equipment installations.
GOVERNANCE
Ensure that transparency and fiscal responsibility are maintained at City Hall.
Promoting fiscal responsibility by cutting unnecessary spending.
